Cassandra Harrignton, MA Intern

Works with children, adolescents, and adults. My practice is grounded in evidence-based strategies that blend insight with practical change, drawing from attachment work, parts work, structural family therapy, somatic approaches, and solution-focused techniques.

It is a pleasure to walk the therapeutic path with you. You steer the ship—I help you read the weather to navigate your journey. This is a space for you to be supported and understood. In session, I take a direct but warm approach, working with individuals on self-exploration. This may include focusing on the 'here and now' with solution-focused techniques, challenging long-held 'irrational' patterns that keep us stuck, or exploring life’s bigger, more meaningful questions. My work also incorporates trauma and grief therapy, as well as helping families understand patterns and relational dynamics within the family system. My practice is grounded in evidence-based strategies that blend insight with practical change, drawing from attachment work, parts work, structural family therapy, somatic approaches, and solution-focused techniques.

Fun Facts about Cassandra

- I am working on my Italian Citizenship through my Sicilian and Italian ancestry and actively working on my (currently terrible) Italian and Spanish language skills!

- Small-scale agriculture is close to my heart and I was a homesteader with a small goat dairy.
