Sky Tritt, Ma Intern

Works with adolescents and adults. Utilizes Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and some Motivational Interviewing

Living in a world where we are held to high social standards with little room for mistakes, it can be challenging to seek out therapy and find a therapist that fits you and your needs. I am passionate about creating a safe space where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. After watching loved one after loved one lose their battle to mental health, I found a passion for therapy and the power it can hold in your life. I am here to help you on your journey to find yourself through introspection and discovery.

I work with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use history. I practice primarily through a Humanistic, Person-Centered approach. I will use notes of Mindfulness-Based Therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). We will work together to find your personal goals for therapy to create a treatment plan that is tailored to you. Each treatment approach will be independent and guided toward what you need and seek through therapy.

I have experience working with individuals of all ages who might be struggling with suicidal thoughts, relationship issues, anxiety, and trauma. I am on the path to completing my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My style is collaborative, direct, and validating.”
