About Brady
Born and raised in Colorado, I am happy to support the individuals of the community that I have called home throughout my life. I work through a person-centered, trauma-informed lens to aid individuals in understanding how past experiences and future worries impact us in our daily lives. I primarily utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy interventions which allow the therapeutic space to be present-centered and compassionate.
After graduating from Cornell College with a degree in math education, I briefly worked with middle and high school students in Iowa City, Iowa, Quito, Ecuador, and Thornton, Colorado. In my time as an educator, I discovered just how important it was for humans of all ages to address their mental health concerns in order to find fulfillment in their everyday lives.
I graduated with my Master’s from Naropa University’s Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling Program. While at Naropa, I cultivated formal and informal mindfulness practices of my own and explored how I can support individuals who hold marginalized and stigmatized identities throughout their therapeutic journeys. I am eager to support, validate, and understand the various identities that comprise every individual’s sense of self. Everyone is deserving of growth and belonging.
