About Skyler

Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different, it’s about reconnecting with the person you’ve always been beneath the trauma, perfectionism, and survival mode. In a world that constantly asks us to keep pushing forward, it’s easy to lose touch with yourself, your needs, and what truly brings you joy. I believe therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect with your authentic self, and begin building a life that feels meaningful—not just manageable. Healing isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating enough safety to become curious about yourself again and discovering that you deserve more than simply getting by.

I specialize in working with adults navigating childhood trauma, complex trauma, chronic perfectionism, and substance use. My approach is grounded in Humanistic and Person-Centered therapy while integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and somatic awareness. Together, we’ll explore not only your thoughts, but also the messages your body has been carrying; helping you better understand your emotions, patterns, protective responses, and unmet needs. My goal is to meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your unique experiences, values, and hopes for the future.

My hope is that therapy becomes more than a place to heal from the past- it becomes a place where you reconnect with what it truly means to be human. Together, we’ll cultivate self-compassion, process painful experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and create a life that feels aligned with your values. I believe healing should make room for joy, meaningful relationships, laughter, and the freedom to live a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and fully your own.
