About Allison

I believe that healing and growth happen through authentic connection, compassion, and collaboration. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to show up exactly as you are. I strive to meet you where you are in your journey, recognizing that every person’s experiences and needs are unique. Together, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and curiosity, allowing us to explore life’s challenges at a pace that feels right for you while celebrating your strengths and the progress you make along the way.

My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning I believe you are the expert on your own life. I tailor each session to your individual needs, strengths, and goals while integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Whether we’re working to better understand unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, process difficult emotions, or create meaningful and lasting change, I aim to provide both compassionate support and practical tools that help you move toward the life you want to live.

I primarily work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I am also committed to practicing with cultural humility and honoring the identities, values, and lived experiences that shape each person’s story. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel heard, understood, empowered, and supported as you build resilience, deepen your self-understanding, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
